Pre
had intended to consolidate all the birthday happenings all into one post and post it up on the day itself......but for fear that i might be at a loss of words due to the overwhelming emotions i feel on the day itself, i decided to post on the things as they come..........
yea, like as if i would ever not have anything to say abt something.......still, it pays to be cautious........
so first off, i have gotten myself a new phone~!!!! had been eyeing it for awhile, and saw an ad in the papers selling it pretty cheap after trade in.........so i thought, y not..........after which i thought, this is not gonna be good.......reason being, i have a tendency to spend continuously once i start.........my track record speaks for itself........and yep, i already have quite a few purchases lined up next, all based on the excuse that it is my birthday...........
anywayz.....here's the phone.......it's a nokia 7360........
interesting thing abt it is, i managed to get the last piece of this colour (coffee brown) at the shop.....and i was informed at an earlier nokia specialty shop that they were stopping imports of this colour model........lucky me......i love birthdays........and that wasnt it.......at the shop, the sales guy said he would give me an extra $20 for the trade in value of my old phone........his reason being that it was his last day at work and i was his last customer........
did i mention i love birthdays?
this is the first phone i have gotten for myself since.........2002.......i had gotten a 6510 for myself using some money from my NS paycheck a the time.......btwn that and this phone, i had hand-me downs from my sis and bro-in-law.......so this new one is pretty much overdue........for $78, well worth it i say..........
other than the new little bundle of joy, mum cooked the customary yoh ji mee sua every member of the family eats on their birthdays.........
yoh ji mee sua = pig's kidney with vermicelli........not japan/korean hip hop singer......
and then she went on to buy a cake.......im not a big fan of birthday cakes though, but this was a chocolate truffle cake........nuff said..........
so here's the cake......
delicious looking isnt it?
