i realise i aint the guy to listen/read abt when it comes to politics.........heck, i dun think any singaporean has much exposure to really funky dogfight kinda politics.........then again, wat do i know........i hardly bother since after all, year after year, it's the same.........

and they ask y the young of this country are not as interested in their country's issues as they should be......too bland geddit?!?!

but.......the mating season does wonders to the brain......and i am abt to attempt to write a post on pple and elections..........not pointing fingers at any particular government, just a general post in trying to explain to myself how elections work........

that was the disclaimer and forewarning.......

so anywayz, came across this......thingy........in my study material. describing mutual exclusion in distributed systems.........im guessing only a handful understand wat the last few words meant........anyhow, there's this "Ricart & Arasomethingsomethinggorn Algorithm" which looks suspiciously like the ideal model of.......gasp........DEMOCRACY!

and there i was thinking we would never see such a model in our world ever again......

it made me think, something's amiss.......y would any1 encode this antique piece of information in a bunch of computer engineering notes? is it to prevent an evil power mongering government from finding it and destroying the ideals that we all hold dear....to tear apart the fabric of our universe?!?!?

and maybe....jus maybe, it is propaganda........sublimal propaganda......by teaching us this algorithm, we are led to believe in an ideal form of government which possibly does not exist anywhere in our world today.........

and then, i might jus be getting way ahead of myself........

my extravagantly rich neighbour has jus bought himself a new car.........not jus any car......he's gotten himself a new porsche Cayenne.........not sure if it's a Cayenne turbo......frankly, i could never see the purpose of SUVs in sg. other than to fulfill the big egos of our male population and some testosterone driven women.......and soccer moms.....

we dun have outbacks, offroads or jungle, or monster truck rallies, we dun have lakes to park nearby and pitch tent, no snow capped peaks.......our small dark roads are occupied by pimps and whores so ya cant have drive-by shootings.........our families are not exactly very big either, mainly cos our houses arent........so would any1 need a SUV other than to irritate the hell out of pple like me on the road?!?!?

they take up too much space on the road and in the parking lots, hell of a dangerous at speed as well.......so y would any1 still want one?!?!

it's like having a wife with huge boobs when u only have one kid to feed.......

then again, a man's love for cars can never be explained........im jus being jealous........not of his car....not this particular one, no........
