it's tuesday~!

last post was on a thursday......so that means.......4 days w/o a post.........wow......

haven had much to blog abt really.......or rather, there have been interesting stuff happening, but ive been too tired at the end of it to type.......

need to watch my spending........im still suffering from the effects of the last over-inflated credit card bill and there shld be another 1 or 2 more coming next.......and there are so many things i need and am so tempted to slurge on.......

saw a pair of Minder jeans at topman during the wkend........was sooooo tempted to get a pair.....but that would set me back 80 bucks.........

the car antenna is spoilt, so ill need to fork out some moola to get it fixed/changed........

the pc monitor will be giving way at the rate it's going........it now needs a warm-up time~! sighz........

money money money money..........money.......never enuf isnt it?

been doing some event jobs to try and offset my credit card deficit........the events are normally the usual company family day stuff........$40 for abt half a day's work aint too bad considering there's not much brain power involved........

went to do one on the sunday jus past.......wasnt a family day, was some kinda department event........the employees were mostly banghras and china chinese.......ill admit one thing, im not particularly fond of some foreign workers/students...........not saying they are all bad......jus some of them are pretty unbearable..........in terms of attitude and mannerism......

then again, they are on our turf.......imagine if i were on theirs........they might find me equally revolting..........

but one thing i kinda envy the foreign workers/students for.......they can be so easily happy........they can laugh so easily and can appreciate the simplest of things.........

of course, those ive come into contact with so far have not had the privilege of having several material things in life.........basically, they are more or less at a comfortable level financially..........jus enough to pass each day.........

the more pple i meet, the more it reinforces my belief that money can complicate things in ways that most cannot forsee.......

i wun deny the fact that im more fortunate than most.......but there are alot of things others dun seem to see/understand abt having this kinda fortune.........of course standing on this side of the fence means ill only see the grass and not the dung on the other side.......unless i climb over and see for myself..........similarly, im sure nobody will understand until they have experienced the same kind of fortune.......

life can be so similar to a minefield at times...........despite all the effort trying to avoid stepping on mines, there are times u jus have to step on some of them to avoid the next......

all that reflection can get to a person........will try to come up with something nicer to read for the next post.........
