Perplexed

somethings i do not and i guess will never understand.

1. if a barcode scanner doesnt read a barcode the first time, how does furiously waving the barcode in front of the scanner help?

was at 7-11 buying myself a morning yoghurt drink when i saw the cashier doing the above with the phone bill of the customer in front of me. made me wonder how in the world does that (the frantic waving) help?!

2. why do giant IT companies like to make complex applications for lousy equipment that are both ridiculous to use?

being the only IT savvy enough person in office, i have to help my colleagues with some of their computer problems. today it was installing the printer/scanner and a name card scanner. i spent half a day installing the printer/scanner bcos the software that came with it was too dumb to report an error when it needed to and threw a fatal error when it did not need to. the name card scanner jus kept quiet.

3. why do some pple have to park their car at the entrance of a small road and still refuse to see they are making a nuisance of themselves?

that's pretty self-explanatory. although i will add that the guy gestured to us that he had done no wrong even when we horned the dumbass.
