Bittergourds Part II

one of the little upsides about working in this job is the stuff i get to read. sometimes they are fairly interesting. for example, this comes hot on the heels of the bittergourd saga from my previous post:

A WOMAN whose husband gave up sex 18 years ago in a bid to live forever has been granted a
divorce.

Chinese man Chen Dong, 50, changed his life after he heard that he would live for 1,000 years if he
was a celibate vegetarian.

Since 1989 he has eaten only vegetables and fruit and abstained from sex with his wife Yu Hui.
The divorce was granted last week. Dong now has to pay love-starved Yu 7,500 in compensation.
