The Sounds We Feel

blogging on location 8 floors above street level........jus a quick one before i start work........

with J working in a company full of chinese nationals/taiwanese and a fair number on my side as well, the topic of their accent and the way the ladies speak has come up several times........J finds their speech very "teh" which is dialect for "saccharine sweet"...........

im not sure how it shld be spelt exactly cos "tea with milk" is spelt "teh" as well but pronounced differently........but once again, i am amazed at how a dialect is able to squeeze so many words and letters into just one simple term that can be pronounced so many ways and used in equally as many ways........

so J finds their speech "teh"..........

me, ive finally found the reason why sg men are falling head over heels for them.......their "teh" voices can really tug a few heart strings.........this is coming from a person who has a chinese national sitting on the other side of the partition in front of him.......so i have had the opportunity of listening but not seeing.........

so, for the sg girls here's my take on things.......

Good news is, guys can be attracted to a multitude of things abt you and not necessarily your T&As..........

Bad news is, if you want to be a winner, get a voice coach........either that or start gorging on some really sweet stuff...........of course that would make you lose your figure........and your friends might not take you as seriously when you talk.............

btw, I am not interested in my office co-worker in anyway.........
